Caution
Not toxic but can cause irritation.
Can irritate the inside of dogs' mouths. Inhaling cinnamon powder can cause coughing and breathing difficulty. Small amounts in food are usually fine.
Caution
Cinnamon should be avoided for cats.
Contains coumarin and cinnamaldehyde which cats cannot metabolize well. Can cause oral irritation, liver issues, and allergic reactions. Essential oil form is especially dangerous.
If your dog has eaten this food and shows signs of distress (vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, tremors, or seizures), contact your veterinarian immediately.
