Honey is safe but high in sugar.
Small amounts can be beneficial — contains vitamins and antioxidants. Not suitable for diabetic or overweight dogs. Local honey may help with allergies.

Not toxic in small amounts but very high in sugar. Cats can't taste sweetness and gain no benefit from honey. May cause GI upset.
If your dog has eaten this food and shows signs of distress (vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, tremors, or seizures), contact your veterinarian immediately.
