Organophosphates and carbamates are especially toxic, causing muscle tremors, seizures, and respiratory failure. Even pet-safe products can be toxic if ingested in large amounts.
Dangerous
Insecticides are very dangerous for cats.
Many insecticides, especially permethrin-based ones, are extremely toxic to cats. Cats are far more sensitive than dogs. Can cause tremors, seizures, and death.
If your dog has eaten this food and shows signs of distress (vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, tremors, or seizures), contact your veterinarian immediately.
