Easter, Tiger, Asiatic, and Japanese lilies cause acute kidney failure. Even small exposures to pollen or water are dangerous. Dogs are less sensitive than cats but still at risk.

All parts of true lilies including pollen and vase water can cause fatal kidney failure in cats within 24-72 hours. This is one of the most dangerous plants for cats. Seek emergency care immediately.
