Caution
Plain peanuts are safe but risky.
Must be unsalted, unshelled, and unflavored. High in fat — can cause pancreatitis in excess. Ensure no xylitol in peanut products.
Caution
Peanuts are not ideal for cats.
Not toxic but high in fat and a choking hazard. Can cause GI upset. Cats get no nutritional benefit from peanuts. Avoid salted or flavored varieties.
If your dog has eaten this food and shows signs of distress (vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, tremors, or seizures), contact your veterinarian immediately.
