Soy is safe but a common allergen.
Found in many commercial dog foods. Some dogs are allergic. Can affect thyroid function in large amounts. Tofu is fine in moderation.

Not toxic but some cats may be allergic or sensitive. As obligate carnivores, cats don't need plant proteins. Small amounts won't harm.
